Goals and Plans
My Testimony
I
have had the great opportunity of growing in the gospel because of righteous parents and predecessors. Their willingness to pass
on the blessings of the gospel has enabled me to grow up in a situation and a
religion all people should be searching for if they knew what it would do for them eternally. I am grateful to my
Grandparent’s and my Mother. Without their conversion, I would not have the
amazing eternal blessings of truth, a temple marriage, and a wonderful family.
I love the gospel with all my heart and there is no doubt in my mind of its
truth.
I
cannot say exactly how I gained my testimony, because there is not one
particular “Ah-ha” moment. I will say however, I’ve never struggled with the
gospel, and the spirit has made it fairly easy for me to make wise decisions.
I’ve been very blessed. As I’ve learned the doctrine and done what is right,
the Lord has shown me truth. Line upon line my testimony was strengthened. You
must continually work to improve what you have. If a day goes by and you waste
it, your testimony begins to atrophy. Never let it atrophy! If you aren’t going
forward, you are going backward!
As I look at the experiences I've had that have strengthened me and brought me to where I need to be, I realize the Lord has had His hand in my life in so many ways. I know He lives and I know He loves me unconditionally. He has given me everything and I love Him dearly for it.
Life has been good to me. When times have been hard, the Lord has made miracles happen. He is my everything.
